Fire Feast Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking, Confirmation, and Payments

  • Advance Booking Only: All Fire Feast at Lallybroch events must be booked in advance through our official website platform.

  • Ticket Confirmation: For individual or group ticket purchases, your booking is confirmed only once full payment has been successfully processed and we have issued a confirmation email.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because our Fire Feast at Lallybroch nights occur only once per month, seats and dates are highly exclusive. We enforce a strict timeline-based cancellation policy to cover perishable ingredient sourcing, menu curation, and staffing.

2.1 Individual & Small Group Ticket Bookings

  • More than 60 days’ notice: You may cancel your booking for a full refund, minus a £10 administrative and payment processing fee per ticket.

  • 60 days or fewer notice: Bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable to future dates. No refunds, credits, or date transfers will be issued under any circumstances (including medical or personal emergencies) due to food prep and minimum capacity requirements.

3. Ticket Transfers & Name Changes (Individual Tickets Only)

If you cannot attend, you are welcome to transfer or sell your tickets to a friend or colleague, provided you adhere to the following conditions:

  • Notice Period: You must notify us of the name change in writing via email at least 72 hours before the event begins.

  • Menu Restrictions: The replacement guest must accept the pre-arranged menu selection (Standard or Vegetarian) chosen at the time of the original booking. As detailed in Section 4, we cannot modify dishes for individual allergies or custom dietary requests.

4. Menus, Allergies, and Dietary Restrictions

  • Family-Style Dining Liability: Our Fire Feasts at Lallybroch are served exclusively as a communal, family-style sharing menu. Because ingredients are prepped together and dishes are served on shared platters, we are strictly unable to cater for individual food allergies, intolerances, or bespoke dietary requirements.

  • Cross-Contamination Warning: We cannot guarantee an environment free of allergens (including but not limited to nuts, gluten, dairy, and shellfish). Guests with severe or life-threatening food allergies dine with us at their own risk.

  • Available Menu Options: We offer only two variations of our set menu: our Standard Menu and our Vegetarian Menu. You must select your preference for each guest at the time of booking. We cannot swap or alter individual elements of these menus on the night.

5. Cancellations by Us & Force Majeure

5.1 Supplier-Initiated Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any experience night or private catering event at our sole discretion (for example, due to sudden chef/staff illness, venue plumbing or electrical failures, or failure to meet minimum event capacity). In these instances:

  • You will be offered a choice between a 100% full refund or a guaranteed priority transfer to a future date.

5.2 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by a Force Majeure Event—meaning any act or event beyond our reasonable control.

  • This includes, but is not limited to: strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial action; civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack, or threat of terrorist attack; war or preparation for war; fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic, or other natural disaster; or the impossibility of the use of public or private transport or telecommunications networks.

  • If a Force Majeure Event takes place that affects the performance of our obligations, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you. Our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, and we will offer affected guests a credit voucher or ticket transfer for a rescheduled future date once operations safely resume.

5.3 Limitation of Liability

Under both standard cancellations and Force Majeure Events, our financial liability is strictly limited to the return of the monies paid to us for the ticket or booking (or issuance of a credit voucher where applicable). We are not liable or responsible for any secondary, out-of-pocket, or consequential costs incurred by guests, including but not limited to pre-booked travel, transport, train tickets, or hotel accommodations.
